James

James is a 20 year old British Racing Driver, who has just finished his A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Business. He has had the privilege of being supported by Porsche GB Motorsport as the Junior Driver.

2024 Season

James reflected on his season as the first year as the Porsche GB Junior Driver. He was happy with the progress throughout the season with there being lots of highs and lows but he feels motivated by the strong finish he had at Brands Hatch GP (the finale), and feels ready to attack the 2025 season.

Junior Racing

James’ motorsport journey started slightly different to most. Instead of karting, he began racing cars in 2014, at age 9, on Oval circuits, in a Junior Nascar, winning consecutive championships.

In 2019, he made the step into Junior Saloons driving a Saxo VTR, and then Fiesta Juniors. James found early success, winning several rounds, and also came runner up and rookie champion in 2021 in the Junior Fiesta Championship.
